Programme for International Students Assessment (PISA)
PISA, Program for International Student Assessment, conducted every three years, evaluates three different areas: math, reading and science. Its purpose is to produce indicators on the effectiveness of educational systems worldwide. The test is applied in public and private schools, assessing 15 year old students in several countries.
In addition to evaluating the learning of Mathematics, Science and Reading, PISA examines the students' ability to analyze, problem solve and apply knowledge acquired in their daily lives.
